Here's the picture:
I'll let Mike chime in here (or Stefan - he was there too) to explain...
Some questions may occur to the casual reader, such as "Why is this man smiling?" "Why is his Cobra on a rollback?" "Could it possibly have anything to do with a 40-year-old hydraulic clutch cylinder?"Mike and his rollback

Re: Mike and his rollback
Oh the humanity...or is that humility...
The 84-88 vintage slave cylinder would appear to be the most likely culprit for sure, but should be a relatively simple and inexpensive fix. The worst part was having to cut the ride short and call for a tow. :GR::
I'll post a few other pix tomorrow.
These cars look great even on a flatbed... ..]

Here's the offending device, which dates back to 1984 (got my money's worth)
New one is on the way, should be back up and running this weekend. ..]

If you need to complain to them about reliability, here's their address: Girling Ltd, Redwither Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate, Wrexham LL13 9RD

True enough Ken. Was just minding my own business shifting gears, then it went pop as I depressed the clutch and the pedal went soft...couldn't shift after that.
