There will be a Cars & Coffee gathering at the Madeira community on US1, just north of the SA city gates.
Rich R asked for a count of how many cobras may be attending, so that he can rope off an area for us. Please let me know if you think you can make it.
The show/gathering will begin at 9A, but he’d like us to be there between 8-8:30A. Will run till about noon.
Saturday May 17

Is this an invitation only event, or open?

Here’s a note from Mike about location:
Hi guys, just a reminder about the cars&coffee at Madeira this coming Saturday morning (5/17). It runs from 9:30 to 11:00, so not a long event. Rich suggested we get there between 8-8:30. It’s at the community center, which is the first right after entering through the front gate I, he says we can’t miss it…

We can meet and drive together, or just meet there, your choice. Mike says he plans to leave his house about 7:45

I had a really good experience at the show.. I'm sure that you noticed the Father with his blind son going around the cars. The son asked a lot of questions, and the father was explaining what was on my car. After a short while I spoke to the Father and told him that if his son wanted to feel around on the car that I didn't think that there were any hot things to touch and that I didn't mind if he felt any part that he wanted to that I didnt care if there were fingerprints.
The son did go around the car checking out the roll bar that his Father had described along with the steering wheel and the lack of door handles and such. I think the son enjoyed the opportunity..
The son asked me if I used the car for dates...which gave me the opportunity to use one of my " O'l sayings of that sorry but as I was old enough to remember when the Dead Sea was only sick" and that was not really an option....He had a good laugh.
