While it was a lower class of racing it was a lot of fun building and learning what it took to make a car go fast and turn left on dirt. I've been watching a bit of Mazda Spec racing on YouTube and Facebook running at Daytona. It looks like so much fun for the money invested. Of course, as a former racing owner driver I know money is always spent to go faster but still remembering my Hobby Stock days and the money it took to run near the front I think it would have been a great time. I am envious of William's youth and the adventures he is going to have....
And having Daytona as a "Home Track" only an hour away is a bonus.
