Re: Motor Parts

Ken,

Looks like you're making good progress, how long do you figure before the motor goes back in the car?

Re: Old Photo Thread

Cool photos Tom, was that the finished state of the car? Where were the photos taken? Do you keep in touch with any of the guys in the photos?

Re: Some days you are the windshield...

Nice Tom, clearly this must have been well before your current obsession with oversized motors...love the hand painted race stripe...you need to switch your meatball numbers to 4...:-)

Re: Old Photo Thread

Last one, I don't remember the young kid's name who's bending over the car, but we called him Stick because he was so skinny...I think he was one of Tony's (the owner) HS auto shop student's...:-)

Re: Old Photo Thread

Andy and Al (another guy on the crew), he usually drove the van to push start the car. There was a remote starter, but it rarely worked well enough to start the car.

Re: Old Photo Thread

Okay, round two...today I'll add a few pictures of a top fuel car I pit crewed for in the early 70's. If I remember correctly, the pictures were taken at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ, which was a common venue for the car. The track is still in operation, but no drag racing any...
