Re: Mike and his rollback

Well, true to form with Tom's "bolts right in" philosophy...looks like the hydraulic line may have been the real culprit. Installed the new slave yesterday, filled the reservoir with fresh Dot 3 synthetic, pumped the pedal several times and voila...half a container of Dot 3 on the floor......

Thx Ken, that's what I thought. I'm sure I'd enjoy it also.

Re: SCCA Driver School 4/13-14/2019 Daytona

Driver School is only required if you intend to race in competitive classes, correct?

I don't think it's required to run in PDX, or is it?

It's not really spelled out in the site FAQs.

Re: DSCC Jan 27 2019 lunch cruise

True enough Ken. Was just minding my own business shifting gears, then it went pop as I depressed the clutch and the pedal went soft...couldn't shift after that.

Re: Mike and his rollback

Here's the offending device, which dates back to 1984 (got my money's worth)

New one is on the way, should be back up and running this weekend. ..]

Re: Mike and his rollback

Oh the humanity...or is that humility... The 84-88 vintage slave cylinder would appear to be the most likely culprit for sure, but should be a relatively simple and inexpensive fix. The worst part was having to cut the ride short and call for a tow. :GR:: I'll post a few other pix tomorrow. T...
